Jazz fan in Paris? Tune on TSF 89.9 !

December 28, 2007 · No Comments

There are several jazz concerts going on every night in Paris. To know all about these, and to listen to good jazz in your hotel room before or after leaving, tune on TSF 89.9 on FM band. At 8.15 AM, 12.30, 17.30 and 19, “Jazzenda” tells you who you can listen to, at what time, and where it takes place.

TSF is the only Paris radio dedicated to all jazz styles. It also provides short but accurate news every hour from 6 am to 11 AM and from 13 to 19. AT 8.45, 11 AM and 16.30.

And as there are other interesting topics besides jazz, listen to Laure Albernhe’s cultural agenda, and know all about that’s going on during the day, worthwhile attending (theater, films, events…).

Among all the Paris jazz clubs, my favorite is the “Duc des Lombards“, 42 rue des Lombards, 75001 Paris, but it is closed right now for renovation, and reopening in February. Until then, there is a nice video clip of there last concert on : http://www.ducdeslombards.com/

On the same tiny street are two others jazz clubs : the “Sunset” (60 rue des Lombards, 33(à)1 40 26 21 25) and the “Baiser Salé” (58 rue des Lombards, 33(0)1 42 33 37 71) All metro or RER Châtelet.
